Avocado Honey Pistachio on Paesano Bread

Avocado, honey, and pistachios on our freshly made Paesano Bread just might be our new favorite combo! Enjoy sweet and savory flavors for breakfast, brunch, a midday snack or even a light lunch. With just a few staple ingredients, and a choice of your preferred toppings – this 10 minute recipe is versatile enough to enjoy day after day!

Ingredients:

1 loaf of Kneaders Paesano Bread 

1 Avocado (ripened)

Salt and pepper to taste 

Dash of olive oil 

Other suggested seasonings: 

garlic salt, onion powder, red pepper flakes, dried oregano. 

Toppings:

Kneaders Creamed Honey

A handful of unshelled pistachios

Directions:

  1. Toast your slice of bread in a hot skillet or using a toaster until it is golden brown
  2. Mash ½ of an avocado using a fork until creamy and combine desired seasonings. *We use 1 avocado per 2 slices of bread. Feel free to adjust to preference! (something like this) 
  3. Sprinkle your preferred amount of pistachios on top of the avocado mixture (mixture, combination, mash ?)
  4. Lastly, drizzle Kneaders Creamed Honey over your avocado toast
