These crazy-patterned, colorful elephants may just look like cute stuffed animals, but these elephants are so much more than cute. They’re helping us bring hope to the fight against childhood cancer!

In anticipation of our annual Hope Fights Childhood Cancer Campaign (coming Sept. 12), we are playing the biggest game of hide and seek we have ever been part of. From September 4-10, the Kneaders team will be at a secret location anywhere in the Wasatch Front with our colorful stuffed elephants and dozens of prizes from our generous sponsors. Watch our Instagram and Facebook stories every evening for hints about the secret location for the next day. When you find an elephant, post a picture of it on Facebook or Instagram with #HopeFightsChildhoodCancer for a chance to win more great prizes! The more pictures you post, the greater your chances to win from a daily drawing for prizes generously donated by our sponsors: Albion Fit, Thanksgiving Point, Soulstice Day Spa, The Children’s Place, Deseret Book, Called to Surf, Lime Ricki, Salomon, Downeast, The Grand America Hotel and more! Join us during hide and seek week on Thursday, September 6 from 10:15 am – 12 pm for the 2018 Hope Fights Childhood Cancer kick-off event at the City Creek Center Kneaders. Come learn about how elephant DNA may hold the key to beating childhood cancer and meet Dr. Joshua Schiffman – the pediatric oncologist and renowned childhood cancer researcher whose work inspired this campaign. The kick-off event will also premiere a 50×90″ hope elephant-inspired chalk canvas art piece, by 15-year-old Chalk the Block 2018 artist, Emily Holmes. We invite you and your family to come decorate an elephant-shaped sugar cookie (while supplies last), color a picture and write a message of hope to children with cancer, and see balloon artistry by Guinness Book of World Records Winner and world renowned balloon crafter and artist, Jeremy Telford.
