INGREDIENTS
- 1 loaf Kneaders French Country Sourdough bread, unsliced
- 14 ounces of monterey jack cheese, shredded or thinly sliced
- 1⁄2 cup butter, melted
- 1 – 2 tablespoon garlic, minced
- 1⁄2 cup green onion, finely diced
- 2 teaspoons poppy seeds
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Cut the bread lengthwise and widthwise without cutting through the bottom crust.
- Place on a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Stuff the cheese in between the cuts
- Combine melted butter, garlic, onion, and poppy seeds in a small bowl.
- Pour the melted mixture over the bread.
- Wrap in foil; place on a baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 minutes.
- Unwrap the bread and bake for 10 more minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling.
