History

After mastering old-world bread baking techniques, testing countless recipes and developing a unique flour blend, our founders began baking artisan hearth breads in their hometown of Orem, Utah in 1997. They soon realized our signature breads would make delicious sandwiches and would pair perfectly with seasonal soups. We started serving breakfast entrees when our founders’ son developed our bestselling Chunky Cinnamon French Toast recipe. Over the past two decades, we have created dozens of seasonal pastry recipes to help our guests celebrate life’s moments and make every day extraordinary.

In 2013, we celebrated our Sweet Sixteen by building a new flagship location in Orem, Utah next to the original Kneaders. In 2017, we celebrated the donation of one million loaves of bread to local charities. In 2018, we celebrated Kneaders’ presence in 8 states.

For more than two decades, our founders, the Worthington family and new members of the Kneaders family have been passionately dedicated to helping our loyal customer come home to Kneaders.
